Partial Hospitalization Program

What IS PHP?
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a structured mental health treatment program that runs for several hours a day, five days per week, for at least two weeks. Clients with co-occuring disorders participate in the scheduled treatment sessions during the day and return home at night. The program runs concurrently with our IOP and has unique additional programming after a lunch break.
This program is a step down from 24-hour-care inpatient care in a residential setting. It can also be used to prevent the need for an inpatient stay.
PHP is designed for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Difficulty functioning at work, school, or other occupation
Not at risk of harming self or others
Medically stable
Has adequate support at home
Motivated to participate in treatment
Experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Once a client has successfully completed PHP or IOP at Wayfinder, we offer a weekly after care support group that connects former clients with each other to creat a community of support under the direction of one of our clinicians.
